How does a person become a legal patient in Colorado?

patients have a recommendation from a medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy in good standing. These licensed professionals may write a recommendation for any condition which therapeutic cannabis provides relief.

Process for attaining a medical marijuana license.

Patients will need to complete a medical history form, along with documents and disclosures. Clients must provide a valid state-issued Colorado ID or drivers license prior to evaluation. Patients will meet with a physician who will evaluate anyone for a recommendation. If patients qualify, they will receive everything they need that very same day. Patients will mail their recommendation to the state to attain their medical marijuana registration.

Will the patients name be on a state or federal list if patient gets a medical marijuana recommendation?

Absolutely not. We follow hippa guidelines to ensure patient privacy.

Does a licensed clinician have to get the medical marijuana verification card?

No, qualified patients will also receive a written recommendation to act as proof of their medical evaluation. CTS is available to consult on best practices.
